We were beginning to think there wouldn't be snow for Christmas. However on December 26 the 2cm of snow that we were suppose to get turned into more like 12-15 cm.

YouTube can be a vast treasure trove. I have found this gem from 1935 that is apparently the first screen adaption of A Christmas Carol, also just called Scrooge.

Just watched the new Disney's Christmas Carol staring Jim Carey. It was okay, but 1971's Scrooge staring Albert Finney is still my favourite. Surprising since I'm not one for musicals.
